Leading from the Inside Out: and Transformation, Collaboration, and Communication in Public Schools Inspired by Waldorf Education
January 13-15, 2012
Rudolf Steiner College

Our annual conference has been expanded to include a pre-conference workshop suitable for all faculty and community members: The Case Clinic: A “U” Approach to Problem Solving, with George Hoffecker and Donna Burgess. Additionally, there is one extra workshop period this year! All four workshop periods will provide “something for everyone” with diverse offerings for teachers, administrators, parent leaders, special subject teachers and community members.

Aaron SternOur featured keynoter Aaron Stern, founder of the Academy for the Love of Learning, will guide us through our collaborative and experiential weekend. Emphasis will be placed on the meaning of transformative leadership and “leading by being” when in the context of educational institutions.

Jane LorandOur second keynoter, Jane Lorand of Rudolf Steiner College’s new Systemic Leadership program, will illustrate how the frameworks and principles of Systemic Leadership can illuminate in our school communities exciting opportunities for transformative leadership and new communication pathways.

There will be eurythmy, speech and singing daily as well as more tantalizing Rudi talks and a Saturday evening Debate Night featuring Eugene Schwartz and Rainbow Rosenbloom. The conference will conclude at 4:30 PM on Sunday.

Detailed information on all this and much more can be found in our registration materials.
