Fall 2014 Vol. 4 No.1

Confluence v3 no3

FOCUS OF THE ISSUE: Collaboration

This Fall 2014 edition of Confluence explores the collaborative nature of our work. We look at key relationships in the classroom with Anna Jacopetii, hear from Christof Weichert about how Child Study enlivens a faculty, and learn about threefold governance at a school in Alaska.  You’ll find a report on a successful district partnership on a bond issue for site improvements, and collaboration on a breakfast program that’s serves over 200 students daily regardless of ability to pay.

Interim Board President Shanna Mall reflects on what’s been accomplished since the Alliance was founded, and Confluence Editor Chip Romer thanks Will Stapp and Stephanie Skinner for their critical roles in the evolution of the Alliance and its work toward the deepening of Public Waldorf Education.  Information on the Alliance’s 2015 Mini-Grant RFP for new initiative and developing schools can be found on page 8.
